تُوفي الكاتب والمؤلف المصري أحمد عبدالله عن عمر يناهز 60 عاماً، حسب ما أعلن المنتج المصري أحمد السبكي، مساء الأربعاء.
وأذاع نقيب المهن التمثيلية في مصر الدكتور أشرف زكي، خبر وفاة الراحل، مشيرا إلى أداء صلاة الجنازة على الجثمان ظهر الخميس من مسجد السراج المنير بمنطقة الدقي بالجيزة، على أن يقام العزاء (السبت).
تخرج أحمد عبدالله، الذي ولد في الأول من أبريل عام 1965، من كلية الحقوق، وانطلق في الكتابة للمسرح منذ أن كان طالبا في الجامعة، وبعد تخرجه قدم العديد من المسرحيات المهمة مثل «ألابندا» و«حكيم عيون».
حقق عبدالله على المسرح نجاحات كبيرة، قبل أن يتجه للكتابة السينمائية، ويقدم مجموعة من الأفلام الكوميدية الناجحة من بينها «عبود على الحدود» و«غبي منه فيه».
وشكّل عبد الله ثنائيا متفاهما مع المخرج الراحل سامح عبدالعزيز، الذي رحل عن عالمنا قبل أشهر قليلة، حيث التقيا عام 2008، وقدما معاً مجموعة من الأعمال السينمائية المميزة، من بينها «الفرح»، و«كباريه» و«الليلة الكبيرة».
كما تعاون الاثنان الراحلان على الصعيد الدرامي في مسلسل «الحارة»، وقدما معاً آخر فيلم في العام الماضي، وهو فيلم «ليلة العيد» الذي قامت ببطولته يسرا وسيد رجب وسميحة أيوب.
The Egyptian writer and author Ahmed Abdullah passed away at the age of 60, as announced by the Egyptian producer Ahmed El-Sobky on Wednesday evening.
The head of the Actors’ Syndicate in Egypt, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, announced the news of the late writer’s death, noting that the funeral prayer for the deceased will be held on Thursday afternoon at Al-Siraj Al-Munir Mosque in the Dokki area of Giza, with condolences to be offered on Saturday.
Ahmed Abdullah, who was born on April 1, 1965, graduated from the Faculty of Law and began writing for the theater while he was still a university student. After graduating, he presented many important plays such as “Alabanda” and “Hakim Oyoun.”
Abdullah achieved great success on stage before turning to screenwriting, delivering a series of successful comedy films, including “Aboud on the Borders” and “Gabi Menho Feeh.”
Abdullah formed a harmonious duo with the late director Samah Abdelaziz, who passed away a few months ago. They met in 2008 and together produced a number of distinguished cinematic works, including “Al-Farah,” “Kabareh,” and “Al-Layla Al-Kabira.”
The two late figures also collaborated on the dramatic front in the series “Al-Hara,” and together they released their last film last year, titled “Laylat Al-Eid,” which starred Yousra, Sayed Ragab, and Samihah Ayoub.
